Martin Udale - Chairman
BSc Hons, Estate Management, University of Reading, United Kingdom

Martin has over 35 years’ experience in commercial and residential property development and investment in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Martin has a particular interest in innovation, regeneration and transformation. He has been a regular advisor to both local and central government on a range of urban development matters.

Martin holds a number of board and governance roles including inaugural Chair and current Director of the Tamaki Redevelopment Company; a Director of Panuku Development Auckland; and Chair of the Residential Development Council.

Martin co-founded Tall Wood Limited with Robert Cornish.

Rob Marshall - Director, CEO

Rob has over 20 years’ experience leading property, development and construction businesses across the North Island. In 2016 Rob became the General Manager of Stanley Construction and CEO of Tallwood in early 2018.

Rob’s background in professional business leadership compliments the design and construction expertise of the Tallwood team. Rob is responsible for the successful leadership and growth of Tallwood within the New Zealand design and construction industry.

Daiman Otto - Director, Director of Design and Digital Construction
B.Arch Hons (1st Class) RMIT University, Melbourne

Daiman specialises in design, product management, strategy and governance in the development, architecture and construction sector. He has particular expertise in minimal waste construction system design.  Daiman is passionate about affordable housing and creating change in the built environment.

Daiman was Chairman of PrefabNZ for three years and has been a Board member for five years.

In 2015 Daiman became Managing Director of Tall Wood Limited and in early 2018 he took on the role of Director of Design and Digital Construction of Tallwood.

Kevin Stanley - Director

Kevin has more than 25 years’ building experience and 20 years’ experience in leadership roles. He became the Managing Director of Stanley Group in 2002.

Kevin’s expertise and experience have made him a highly respected voice in the New Zealand construction industry.

Kevin is also a Director of BRANZ, an independent and impartial research and consulting organisation for the New Zealand building and construction industry, since 2012.

Robert Cornish - Director

Robert has over 30 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer in New Zealand, England, Hong Kong and Australia.

In 2013 Robert and good friend Prof. James Murray-Parkes co-founded Engineering Innovations Group. This has developed into Brookfield Scientific Solutions Group under Prof. Murray-Parkes’ leadership.

In 2014 Robert co-founded Tall Wood Limited with Martin Udale.

Craig Davison - Director

Craig has 29 years’ of experience in the New Zealand construction industry. Craig has been a Director of Stanley Group for ten years’ and the General Manager for the Waikato region for eight.

Craig brings a wealth of construction knowledge and extensive project management and delivery experience to the Tallwood team.

Craig was also a Board member of PrefabNZ between 2015 and 2017.

Richard Hopkins - Offsite Project Manager

Richard has over 24 years’ experience in the building and construction industry.

Richard’s role at Tallwood is to oversee the factory floor, manage the manufacture of the offsite components of a project, and coordinate offsite and onsite logistics on a project basis.

Richard has experience across a broad range of projects ranging from the construction of the Knoll Ridge Café on Mt Ruapehu, Housing New Zealand’s regional development programme and NZ Defence Force barracks construction.
Graeme Morrison - Manufacturing Manager
Diploma in Construction Management Licensed Building Practitioners – Carpentry, Site 2 & Design 1

Graeme has over 35 years’ experience in the building industry, having worked for Mainzeal, Naylor Love Construction and Stanley Group.  

Graeme’s role involves working closely with Tallwood’s Project Managers to ensure the smooth delivery of the manufactured components of a project.
